SBA Financing

SBA loan programs are offered by participating lenders and partially guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. ClickFundBiz is not an SBA lender and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the SBA. Where available and appropriate, we can help you explore options through participating SBA lenders. Eligibility and terms are determined by the SBA's program rules and by each participating lender.

Financing options are provided by participating financing providers and are subject to their eligibility requirements, approval and terms.

SBA Financing

Common uses

Every business is different. These are some of the purposes businesses often pursue with this type of financing.

  • Financing part of a business acquisition or partner buyout
  • Purchasing owner-occupied commercial real estate, under eligible programs
  • Funding major equipment purchases
  • Longer-term expansion projects
  • Refinancing eligible business debt, where program rules allow
  • Larger working capital needs suited to longer repayment periods

What to expect

How the process works

One application. Multiple possibilities. ClickFundBiz works as a broker on your behalf; financing providers make all credit decisions.

1

Apply once

Tell us about your business, your financing needs and your timeline. One application covers every option we explore for you.

2

We identify providers

Our team reviews your request and identifies participating financing providers whose programs and criteria may fit your business.

3

Compare any offers

If a provider extends an offer, you review its terms directly (amount, payments, cost and conditions) and decide what works for you.

4

The provider funds

The financing provider you choose completes its own underwriting and, if it approves your application, funds your business directly.

SBA program eligibility, loan amounts, rates, fees and terms are governed by SBA rules and determined by participating lenders, never by ClickFundBiz. The SBA process typically involves more documentation and a longer timeline than other financing types, and not every business, industry or use of proceeds is eligible.

Factors providers often consider

Each financing provider sets its own criteria and makes its own decisions. These are factors providers commonly review, not requirements set by ClickFundBiz, and not a checklist that promises any outcome.

Commonly reviewed

  • Operating as a for-profit business in the United States
  • Meeting SBA size standards for the business's industry
  • Management experience and time in business
  • Financial statements, tax returns and a clear use of proceeds
  • Credit history of the business and its owners
  • Collateral and personal guarantees, as required by the SBA and the lender

Worth keeping in mind

  • Eligibility is defined by SBA program rules and each participating lender; no intermediary can change or waive those requirements
  • Expect a more document-intensive process: tax returns, financial statements and business details are standard
  • Timelines are typically longer than for other financing types
  • Personal guarantees from significant owners are a common SBA requirement
  • If SBA financing isn't a fit, other financing types may still be worth exploring

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, funding, or any particular rate or term.

FAQs

Common questions

Straight answers about how this type of financing typically works and how our broker process applies.

Is ClickFundBiz an SBA lender?
No. ClickFundBiz is a commercial financing broker/intermediary and is not an SBA lender, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. SBA loans are made by participating lenders, which decide independently whether to approve an application under SBA program rules.
What SBA loan programs exist?
The SBA oversees several programs. Commonly discussed ones include 7(a) loans for general business purposes and 504 loans for major fixed assets like real estate and equipment. Which programs a lender offers, and whether your business and use of funds qualify, is determined by that lender and by SBA rules.
Who decides if my business is eligible for an SBA loan?
Eligibility is set by the SBA's program rules and applied by each participating lender, which also adds its own credit criteria. ClickFundBiz does not determine SBA eligibility and cannot guarantee that any application will qualify for or receive SBA financing.
How long does SBA financing take?
Generally longer than other financing types: the process involves more documentation and review by both the participating lender and, in some cases, the SBA. Timelines vary by lender, program and application, so no specific timeframe can be promised. If your need is urgent, tell us. Other options may fit your timeline better.
